It views the use of technology and science to enhance human capabilities and extend human life as a means to fulfill the ultimate spiritual goals of many religions, such as achieving immortality, enlightenment, or union with a higher power. In religious transhumanism it is believe that the use of technology to enhance human abilities is not only morally permissible but also morally desirable as it allows for greater spiritual attainment. They argue that the use of technology can help us to become better versions of ourselves, both physically and spiritually, and can ultimately lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
